Job Summary: Media Teacher answers to Principal and adheres to the teacher’s job description.
Qualifications: Type 03 or Type 10 with a media endorsement or able to obtain one. Desire to work with intermediate level children. Able to use and teach technology skills to students and staff. Creative individual that will perform all routine Media Center and Library functions. Ability to serve as resource for technological and curricular advancements in the field. Knowledge of positive classroom management procedures and best practices. Able to work with administrators, staff, and parents to foster an efficient school operation. Excellent communication and computer skills, flexible, and enthuiastic. Spanish-speaking desirable.
Working Conditions: Regular School Day (180 days a year)
Salary: Starting, $36,817, commensurate with salary schedule and experience. Competitive benefits package.
